Mobilearth is a Fintech company that delivers digital banking solutions to customers and employees. The two main products are Mobilearth banking for day to day customer transactions and MobiBranch which is employee facing.

Mobilearth Overview
I began in 2014 with designs implemented by developers, taking on a significant role in the branding and end-to-end product design for web and mobile apps. My approach is guided by prioritizing users first and three core principles: Delight, Wonder, and Usefulness. Qualitative and quantitative feedback from stakeholders help understand user and business needs, focusing on creating engaging, intuitive, and impactful user designs through iterative improvements.

Mobilearth Queue Case Study
During the early Covid pandemic, banking customers had to wait in long, frustrating lines outside due to limited capacity and social distancing, This prompted me to seek a solution through Mobilearth applications.
Mobilearth Banking - Web and Mobile Apps.
For the web, we simplified the screens to a cleaner look and feel after doing comparative analysis. We kept a distinct style for mobile banking, which clients and customers preferred. Given that UX design is user-centric, the team avocated for a more dynamic visual design on mobile and a simpler, cleaner design for the web.
MobiBranch - Tablet and Mobile App.
We approached an easy-to-navigate and used colours, fonts, and icons to simplify the app as we considered that employees are using this on the go. Client surveys indicated a preference for a distinct background, so we simplified the functional screens to reduce visual clutter.
Mobile & Tablet Banking UI (2014)
In 2014, the mobile banking and tablet app featured a text-heavy layout and basic navigation, making interactions less intuitive. The UI had a cluttered layout, limiting usability and accessibility. This section showcases a comparison of the old design versus the modernized version, highlighting key improvements in user experience, navigation, and visual hierarchy.
Paper Prototypes & Wireframes.
Early stages of the discovery phase. Paper prototypes allows free discussion with the internal team, each section can be moved around easily. Once a layout was achieved, we moved on to wireframe prototypes to gain valuable feedback from customers and stakeholders through user testing.
Designed and deployed digital banking solutions for 30 financial institutions.
Led 0-to-1 product development during COVID-19 to enable seamless remote banking.
